Day 3
We have made it to the last day of 3 Days of Gratitude! That was quick. At least it felt pretty quick to me. Before you get deep into the hustle and bustle of the day before Thanksgiving, I invite you once again to pause. Take a moment to quiet yourself. Just be here and be present in the moment.
On Day 1, we were grateful to know that God is constantly thinking of us. On Day 2, we were filled with gratitude because of the calm assurance that God is with us.
Now on Day 3, we are grateful to be fearfully and wonderfully made by God.
Let's read Psalm 139:14 NIV
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:
marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
God poured out love, honor, and respect as he made us. Each of us is designed in such a unique and magnificent fashion. Throw away every societal definition of beauty, and embrace this beautiful truth that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. This powerful and amazing God carefully crafted you. You are one of his marvelous works. You- yes you are one of God's marvelous works in the earth. Maybe you've never known this or perhaps you've forgotten this, but make this the moment that you embrace and live in this truth.
Today we are grateful for the divinely delicate manner in which God fashioned us.
As we close out this 3-Day journey in the land of gratitude, let us stop and realize how deeply we are loved by God. At the core of each day, our reason for gratitude all points back to God's love for us.
